Bimini Boat Clearance – Customs & Immigration
(June 1–14, 2026) Operating Hours
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. daily at designated ports of entry (Bimini Big Game Club Marina and Resorts World Bimini).
After-hours, weekends, or holidays: Officers are available on call. Arrange in advance through your marina dockmaster, overtime fees usually apply.

Limited service only. Expect overtime charges. We highly recommend you cross over on Thursday to avoid any issues.
Clearance Procedures
- Before you depart Florida, apply for a crushing permit online on Click2Clear & retain your PCR number. (DO NOT PAY for the permit until you arrive) Also print out an Inward Report & fill out.
- Fly the yellow quarantine flag upon entering Bahamian waters. Proceed to Big Game Club or Resorts World (Bimini ports of entry
- Once docked, ask for and fill out Immigration cards (1 per passenger, Black or Blue pen only) and pay for your previously filed Click2Clear Cruising Permit Application.
- Only the captain may go ashore to clear. All passengers must give captain their valid passports (6+ months of expiration left) & filled out immigration forms.
- The captain will clear Immigration (Pink building a few hundred feet north along the main road from Big Game Club), then Customs (At BBGC entrance) with your Click2Clear PCR Number and Inward Report.
IMPORTANT PREP ITEMS:
- All passengers need valid passports (valid for at least 6 months recommended, though Bahamas officially requires valid for entry duration).
- Bahamas courtesy flag (to fly after clearance).
- Yellow quarantine flag (Q flag).
- Vessel docs (USCG registration/ documentation).
- For vessels 50+ ft: AIS must be operational.

Ancillary Fees

New Clarification:
Per Customs, Anchoring Permits are now only required for vessels not docking at a marina.
If asked to pay for it, we suggest you push back gently, as you SHOULD NOT have to.
